Mission Statement:

     By example, promote the importance of spiritual life through Mary and her intersession for our good and the good of St. Joseph’s Parish, Wurtsboro, NY.
     The Ave Maria Guild is a voluntary association of women affiliated with the Roman Catholic Parish of St. Joseph in Wurtsboro, NY. It functions with the approval of the duly appointed representative of the Archbishop of New York, usually a Pastor or a canonically appointed substitute. This representative need not be in attendance at a meeting for a vote to be binding. In the event that a proposed activity is unsuitable for a Catholic organization, this representative shall have the final decision.
